The University of Notre Dame, Indiana, announces the creation of the Provost’s Postdoctoral Fellowship. These prestigious fellowships target exceptional early-stage scholars seeking to advance their careers in an interdisciplinary academic environment. The College will appoint the fellows for one year, with the option of a one-year renewal. Each fellow will receive an annual salary of $75,000, and will work together with the host department and the director of postdoctoral studies in the College to identify a suitable primary research mentor.
We are particularly interested in welcoming a postdoctoral fellow in art history who can contribute to our department’s support of Notre Dame’s quest to become a more global institution. The division of Art History has strengths in the art of the Americas, and the Mediterranean.
