The "Ferrara Sacra" Summer School is an initiative of OSA – Officina Storie dell’Arte, a research lab based at the Department of Humanities, University of Ferrara. This first edition, organized in collaboration with the Musei di Arte Antica di Ferrara, Fondazione Ferrara Arte, and the Ferrariae Decus Association – ETS, will offer a focused exploration of themes and methods related to sacred art in Ferrara from the medieval to the contemporary period.
Over the course of three days, participants will take part in guided visits to key monuments—some not regularly open to the public—and in seminars led by scholars and professionals from both academia and the museum sector.
Please note: all seminars will be held in Italian.

The Summer School is open to 20 participants enrolled in PhD programs, postgraduate schools, or Master’s degrees in art history and cultural heritage. There is no registration fee, but transport, meals, and accommodation costs are the responsibility of the participants.
