Institut Giacometti Research Residencies

The Institut Giacometti in Paris runs a research programme on the history of modern art: the École des Modernités. The aim of this programme is to support original projects in the study of the art of the modern period (1905-1960).

Two types of residencies are being offered:

1) Research residencies at doctoral and post-doctoral level
Residencies lasting 3 weeks, which may be extended to 6 weeks upon justified request and in agreement with the head of the École des Modernités

2) Research residencies at pre-doctoral level (Master’s 1 or 2)
Residencies lasting 1 week, which may be extended to 2 weeks upon justified request and in agreement with the head of the École des Modernités

Residencies are available all year round. The École des Modernités research residencies provide researchers with a studio apartment at the Institut Giacometti.
